Janu by Blondie is an all-day Indian café from Bastian Hospitality, developed as an Indian-focused extension of the Blondie brand. It opened in Juhu in July 2026 and combines nostalgic Indian comfort food with a colourful, contemporary café environment. The concept brings together dishes inspired by different parts of India rather than following one regional cuisine. Guests can find Delhi-style chaat, South Indian benne dosa and idli, Banarasi kachori-sabzi, Punjabi saag and missi roti, kulchas, black dal, pav bhaji and contemporary café dishes. The beverage programme moves throughout the day from speciality coffee and matcha to cocktails in the evening. Standouts include Rasmalai Matcha, Rasgulla Tiramisu Latte, Salted Mosambi Paloma and Don't Jinx It. There is also a retail section selling coffee, matcha and take-home products. The interiors use Janu Blue, mustard and terracotta, with colourful Indian-folklore-inspired artwork, patterned floors, sculptural arches and playful lighting. The atmosphere is complemented by a nostalgic 90s/early-2000s Bollywood playlist, giving the café a distinctly Indian, youthful personality.
